“What are you doing for others?”

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. asked this powerful question, and this January, you are invited to answer it! Join Glen Mar Church, Ames Memorial United Methodist Church, and St. John Baptist Church for the 13th Annual MLK Jr. Day of Service, a joyful, community-wide celebration of compassion, connection, and making a difference. Everyone is welcome! Bring your family, invite your friends, gather your neighbors, or come on your own. With two dozen hands-on service opportunities, there’s something for every generation from young children and teens to adults and grandparents. Together, we will serve our neighbors, support people in need, and discover how small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Along the way, share your story, meet new people, and experience the joy of serving side by side. And there’s more! Enjoy a complimentary chili lunch, and students can earn community service hours. Best of all, participation is completely free, and everyone is welcome!
