Dear Glen Mar friends,

I’m attaching a special Devotional Journal written by Scott McKensie from Horizons. Scott is a longtime friend of Glen Mar who has come alongside us for several stewardship endeavors and who is both an encourager and a man of great faith. He wrote the attached devotional guide several years ago to help churches walk with God through capital/stewardship campaigns and the Stewardship Team and I felt it would be such a great blessing to us in our personal devotions that we wanted to invite the congregation to use it too! Each day, starting today at Day One, read a devotion. You can do this with your family at the breakfast or dinner table or on your own. I think you will find it to be a big blessing!

This Sunday is Pentecost (and Memorial Day Weekend), and we have many blessings in store for worship! Please come a little early if you can for a special prelude (a hymn sung in 9 languages!). Also, mark your calendar for something NEW from Glen Mar—an Outdoor Summer Market every Thursday in June, starting June 1, from 3-6:30 pm in our parking lot. We’ll have handmade arts and crafts, local baked goods, gifts and more! Smiling faces in Glen Mar T-shirts also welcome! We want folks to visit and then come back to see us for worship, for small groups, and for mission!

Together, we can run the race God has set before us! I’m so glad to be running the race with you!
