Dear Glen Mar friends,
Lawyers get a bit of a bad wrap in the gospels, because they are always trying to “test” Jesus about one thing or another. But lawyers in real life can be a huge help, and I know very many who are doing Christ’s work every day! When Shakespeare’s character says, in Henry VI, “The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers,” you should know that he’s attempting to overthrow the government—so he wants to get rid of the rule of law. My favorite line from America The Beautiful is the prayer that God would “confirm thy soul in self-control, thy liberty in law.”
ZOOM w/a Lawyer! Because at Glen Mar, we believe that Jesus cares about every aspect of who we are, including legally and financially, we’ve arranged for Attorney Jen Kidwell from Maryland Legacy Law Group, to do a zoom that is specifically for parents. She’ll do a brief legal presentation and then answer your questions about the legal and financial concerns you face as parents.
