Dear Glen Mar friends,

Happy Lent! If you are searching for some special Lenten disciplines to make this Lent a space “set apart” for some “heart work,” I would suggest reading through the Gospel of Mark as a discipline (It’s the shortest….) for this 40 day time, and embracing prayer 5x day (waking, meals, bedtime) for God to make God’s presence felt in your life and to give you eyes to see God present in others. If you fast from an activity or a food, you may want to give the money you would have spent on that to the church to give to those in need, or give to our Easter Food Drive and Cold Weather Shelter! 

Speaking of Cold Weather Shelter, our week is coming! We have need for a few more “bulk items” and just a couple more volunteers…check out the signup here!

And, if you are able to make a commitment of any size to our capital fund, that would really assist with our ongoing mortgage needs. Details are in the video!
