Youth Summer Fun

Middle School Scavenger Hunt: Sunday, August 21, 4-5:30 pm @Centennial Park in Columbia, MD – Fun, friends, and a little bit of Jesus.

High School End of Summer POOL PARTY! Saturday, August 27, 4-6:00 pm – At Pat & Don Lee’s House! Join us for food AND fun! Please RSVP to Pastor Heerak so there’s enough food for everyone!

Our Next Turn @ Rt. 1 DRC – August 27 from 11:45 to 2:00 pm

One of 50 churches supporting the Grassroots Rt.1 Day Resource Center (DRC), Glen Mar provides lunch on the 4th Saturday of every month. If you’d like to contribute to the potluck menu, help serve on site, or even view future signups, visit our DRC blog. Summer Singing Opportunities – August 28

“No Strings” Choir – Sunday, August 28 at 9:30 Service. One-hour rehearsals on Thursday, August 25 at 7:00 pm in the choir room. All are welcome!

Confirmation Class Information Meeting – August 28 at 11:00 am

Eighth grade (and older) youth and their parents can learn all about Confirmation Class, a year-long experience exploring faith and discipleship. If you cannot make the meeting, please contact Jen Rowell.

Fall Kickoff – Sunday, September 11

Fall Kickoff is our way to welcome you back from wherever Summer takes you! We would love to hear about it. Find a place of welcome, worship, and learning for kids, youth, adults, seniors, visitors – EVERYONE!
