Confirmation Class Information Meeting – August 28 at 11:00 am

Eighth grade (and older) youth and their parents can learn all about Confirmation Class, a year-long experience exploring faith and discipleship. If you cannot make the meeting, please contact Jen Rowell.

Fall Kickoff – Sunday, September 11

Fall Kickoff is our way to welcome you back from wherever Summer takes you! We would love to hear about it. Find a place of welcome, worship, and learning for kids, youth, adults, seniors, visitors – EVERYONE! There are many ways to get involved and “in community” here at Glen Mar, and our Fall Kickoff kick-starts that whole process. [Read More]

Celebration – Sunday September 11 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm: You are invited to enjoy the community with ministry information tables, fun games and activities, and delicious food prepared by our own George Dohner.

Growth Groups for Fall: If you’ve been thinking about joining a small group, make sure to mark September 11 on your calendar. Wish Upon A Star Needs YOU!

Each year, Glen Mar’s Wish Upon A Star program provides Christmas gifts to children and families in need. We’ve had a few “well-earned retirements” from our Planning Team and need to add some new volunteers. The Summer Concert Series Team is pleased to announce!

The Howard County Arts Council has awarded the Summer Concert Series a $5,500 grant for next year. This grant will allow the series to hold three concerts in 2023 rather than its traditional two concerts per summer. [Read More]
