Starting Point, 8-Week Study
You’ve gotta start (or return) somewhere!
Glen Mar will begin a new 8-week long session of Starting Point on Wednesday, September 15. Starting Point is a study series about restarting our faith as adults. It is based on the Starting Point sermon series by Andy Stanley and there’s no reading or homework. The study is especially geared toward Seekers (curious about the faith), Starters (just started a relationship with Jesus), Returners (some church experience but it’s been a while), and Others (interested in the basics of faith). Backpack and School Supply Collection This Weekend (and Next)
There are two more weekends to donate backpacks and school supplies for the children of Guilford Elementary School. They have expressed a need of at least 86 backpacks and general school supplies to fill backpacks. A collection bin can be found in the Gathering Place for backpacks and school supplies through August 8th. Whether you can help with #2 pencils, crayons, markers, 3 x 5 index cards, glue sticks, spiral notebooks, pocket folders or a completely filled backpack, your contribution is welcome! Even tissues, plastic zipper closure snack bags and sticky note pads would help. Thank you for helping the children and families of Guilford Elementary.
Glen Mar’s Early Learning Center Job Openings and Fall Registration
Glen Mar’s Early Learning Center (ELC) is has job openings for teachers and assistant teachers for the upcoming school year. Do you hold a certificate in Early Childhood Education or have experience teaching preschool children? We are seeking warm, friendly, caring, great communicators to add to our teaching team.
