Glen Mar Food Drive – May 25 to June 15. As part of our continuing mission to provide food for needy families in Howard County, as well as those served by our partner church in Baltimore, Ames United Methodist Church, Glen Mar will be collecting food items from May 25 to June 15. Please pick up a bag with a list of needed food items from the table in the gathering place, and thank you for your continued efforts to feed local families in need. Mark your calendar now for the Summer Concert Series! – Ensemble132 will perform on Friday, June 27 at 7:00 pm in the Spirit Center. Other upcoming concerts are Marimba Linda Xelaju on Friday, July 18 at 7:00 pm and The U.S. Army Field Band’s Broadway Through the Ages on Friday, August 8 at 7:00 pm. The next “Aging and the Spiritual Journey” study is scheduled for September 23-November 18. It will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 1:30-3:00 at the church. Youth Group – All 6th-12th grade youth are invited to join us tonight from 5:30-7:30pm for Bubble Ball! Put on a bubble suit and bounce around the church yard. Each participant must complete an online waiver. Please bring $10 for Bubble Ball and $5 for dinner.

Dinner & a Movie – We are looking for families willing to host Dinner & a Movie nights for high school youth this summer. On Wednesday nights we would like a family to provide dinner and then a TV with a way of ordering an online movie and room for a dozen or so people. The timeframe would be from 6:30-9:30 pm. We are looking for hosts on: July 2, July 16, July 30 and August 6. Contact D.C. Veale if interested!
