Vacation Bible School (VBS) – Register Today!
Registration has begun! Kids currently in kindergarten and older are invited into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God this summer at Scuba VBS – July 8-12, 9am to noon, with an extended day option. HOLA Toastmasters of Ellicott City – Next meeting Tuesday, April 2 at 7:30 pm
Toastmasters is Celebrating 100 Years! “It’s all about communication excellence, and for 100 years and counting, Toastmasters have been expressing themselves better, practicing, and evaluating in a fun club environment, shining all around the world.” Our group meets twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings at 7:30 pm. We have hybrid meetings both online and in person on first Tuesdays at Glen Mar and on ZOOM only on third Tuesdays. For more information, email Rajan.
Spaghetti Dinner – Sunday, April 7 at 5:00 pm
The Youth Group is hosting a spaghetti dinner to support their upcoming Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed build. Proceeds will go toward bed-building supplies and bed linens, helping to provide beds for local children who don’t have a bed of their own. The cost of the dinner is a free-will donation. Social Justice Group – Tuesday, April 9 at 7:00 pm
Passionate about social justice and want to make a difference in the world? Join us in room 159 as we explore ways to support migrants arriving in D.C.
Dancing Needles – Thursday, April 11 at 1:00 pm
Do you enjoy knitting and crocheting or would you like to learn? We need you in our prayer shawl group. Prayer shawls are given to those in hospital and those in need of special care as a reminder that others care and are praying for them. The group is also making baby blankets for our newborns and scarves for our armed forces. We usually meet the second Thursday of every month at 1:00 pm in Room 144 to knit, crochet, and share together. If you wish you can knit or crochet at home and we can arrange to have your finished items picked up or dropped off at church. Donations of yarn are always welcome.
Mission Trip Training – Saturday, April 13 at 11:00 am
Get ready for a team building and training session for our upcoming mission trip. If you are signed up for the Mission Trip or are planning to sign up, join us in the Youth World from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Habitat For Humanity – Next build date is April 13
Do you enjoy doing handy work? Or do you wish you knew how to do handy tasks around your home? The Glen Mar Habitat Crew welcomes you to join us, either way. You must be 16 or older to work on a Habitat site. We work the second Saturday of every month. If construction isn’t your gift, you can still support this wonderful mission by volunteering in the Restores. Contact Adrienne Taylor to learn more or to sign up.
High School Retreat to Bethany Beach – May 3-5

Youth Summer Mission Trip to Plymouth, NC – June 23-29
This summer’s youth mission trip will return to Plymouth, NC, partnering once again with Carolina Rebuilding Ministry. Youth completing 8th grade and older can participate. The cost per person will be $200. Register by April 13 with a $100 deposit to secure your spot. First training is on March 9. Learn more and sign up here.
