- Easter Eggstravaganza – Saturday, March 23, 10-11:30 am. Children and families can enjoy a fun morning of egg hunting, crafts, cupcake decorating, and more. Please register today, so we know how many to expect.
- Help to beautify the sanctuary for Easter in honor/memory of a loved one. Please look for an envelope in the Cafe area and fill it out and hand to the Welcome Center Hostess. We will have a limited number of different flower plants – Azaleas, Lilies, and a mystery flower – that you may either donate to a shut-in, or take home. Contact Mary Ellen for more information.

Aging and the Spiritual Journey – get on the wait list!
Are you getting older? Of course you are: aging is part of life. But if you want to age in life-giving ways then you will want your faith and spirituality to be part of that process. Interested? Consider joining the wait list for the new 8-week small group study “Aging and the Spiritual Journey”. The pilot group is already filled but because the group size is limited to 8 people at a time, the sooner you sign on, the sooner you can be part of a future group. Vacation Bible School (VBS) – Register Today!
Registration has begun! Kids currently in kindergarten and older are invited into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God this summer at Scuba VBS – July 8-12, 9am to noon, with an extended day option. In partnership with Ames United Methodist Church in Baltimore, and My Sister’s Place Women’s shelter in Baltimore, Glen Mar will be collecting food items to help up to 250 families celebrate Easter. Mission Trip Information Meeting – Saturday, March 9 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Are you interested in attending the Mission Trip to Plymouth, NC June 23rd – 29th? If you have never been on a mission trip or didn’t attend our mission trip last year, this is a meeting for you! Find answers to … Where are we going? Where will we sleep? What do we eat? Do we interact with the locals? And whatever else you want to know! This is YOUR TIME to ask questions. Join us on March 9th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Youth World. Lunch will be provided.

Social Justice Group – Saturday, March 16 at 10:00 am
Passionate about social justice and want to make a difference in the world? Join us as we explore ways to support migrants arriving in D.C.
Dancing Needles – Thursday, March 14 at 1:00 pm
Do you enjoy knitting and crocheting or would you like to learn? We need you in our prayer shawl group. Prayer shawls are given to those in hospital and those in need of special care as a reminder that others care and are praying for them. The group is also making baby blankets for our newborns and scarves for our armed forces. We usually meet the second Thursday of every month at 1:00 pm in Room 144 to knit, crochet, and share together. If you wish you can knit or crochet at home and we can arrange to have your finished items picked up or dropped off at church. Donations of yarn are always welcome.
Lunch Bunch – Saint Patty’s Lunch, Tuesday, March 19 at 11:30 am
Lunch Bunch is a group of “seasoned citizens” (55 and up) who meet in the lower lobby for fellowship, fun and, of course, lunch. This month, it’s George Dohner’s Corned Beef & Cabbage to celebrate St. Patty’s. All you need to bring is your appetite! If you have any questions, contact Lois.

Spaghetti Dinner for SHP – Sunday, April 7 at 5:00 pm
The Youth Group is hosting a spaghetti dinner in the Spirit Center to support their upcoming Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) bed build. Proceeds will go toward bed-building supplies and bed linens, helping to provide beds for local children who don’t have a bed of their own. The cost of the dinner is a free-will donation. Youth at “The Yard” – Sunday, April 14
Take me out to the ballgame, take me out to the crowd. The youth are invading Camden Yards on April 14. Register HERE by March 14 to guarantee a ticket. We will meet at the church at noon to head up to the Yard and will be back after the game is over.
Youth Summer Mission Trip to Plymouth, NC – June 23-29
This summer’s youth mission trip will return to Plymouth, NC, partnering once again with Carolina Rebuilding Ministry. Youth completing 8th grade and older can participate. The cost per person will be $200. Register by April 13th with a $100 deposit to secure your spot. First training is on March 9. Learn more and sign up here.
