MINISTRY SPOTLIGHTS:
  • Wish Upon A Star – Wish Upon A Star – Today is the Last Day to Sign Up! Please join us in assisting about 35 families with clothing, food, and toys. You may choose a gift in the Gathering Place or sign up online by searching for “Wish Upon A Star” on Glen Mar’s website. Gift cards or donations are easy ways to give and are also much appreciated. Stop by the Gathering Place today to learn more. To those to already signed up – thank you! Please drop your gifts off on or by Sunday, December 1.
  • Journey To Bethlehem – December 6,7,8 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Register today!
  • Serve as an MLK Jr. Day of Service Activity or Hospitality Assistant – Monday, January 20, 2025 from 8:30 am to 12:45 pm or from 12:15 pm to 4:30 pm. Sign up at Day of Service Support or email Day of Service Team.

  • It’s almost the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! Honor a loved one this Christmas and help beautify our Spirit Center by ordering a poinsettia! Please place orders by December 15.
  • Year-end is a time for Giving! As we take stock and reflect on our blessings this year, it seems only natural to express our gratitude with a gift, and while many of these gifts will be given to family and friends, many of us have been blessed by our church!
  • VBS 2025 Needs Your Old Christmas Tree! Help us venture into the forests of the Pacific Northwest by donating your old artificial Christmas trees!   • What time are the Christmas Eve services this year? Family Christmas Eve services will be held at 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm (also online), Traditional Christmas Eve services will be held at 7:00 pm (also online) and 9:00 pm, and a Candlelight and Communion Service will be held at 11:00 pm, and please join us Christmas Day at 10:00 am.
  • Mark your calendars! – for the 11th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, January 20, 2025 to honor Dr. King’s legacy through acts of kindness, service and unity!

  • Habitat For Humanity – Saturday, December 14. Do you enjoy doing handy work? Or do you wish you knew how to do handy tasks around your home? The Glen Mar Habitat Crew welcomes you to join us, either way. You must be 16 or older to work on a Habitat site.   • The Longest Night Service – Saturday, December 21, 7:00 PM. Are you grieving or suffering through a challenging time? Join us to reflect on God’s steadfast faithfulness when life feels like a dark winter night.
  • Journey Through Grief – January 11 – February 15. A six-week support group for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. More details coming soon!
YOUTH INFO/EVENTS:
  • Youth Worship Sunday, November 24, 5:30-7:00 pm. Join us for fellowship, dinner, and a youth-led worship service! Meet in Youth Lounge and bring $5 for dinner and any money you would like to contribute as an offering!

MUSIC MINISTRY:

Christmas Cantata – Mark your calendars! Love! A Gospel Christmas Celebration by Joel Raney will be performed on Sunday, December 22 at both the 9:30 and 11:00 am services. Contact Sophie Hong for more information.
