Dear Glen Mar friends,
As the parent of a graduating senior, I’m contemplating those points of transition in life. It occurs to me that our God is a God of transition. From chaos to order, from shade to light, from bondage to freedom, from wilderness to promised land, from exile to return. And in Christ, from water to wine, from cross to crown, from death to eternal life, our God is about transformation out of times of transition.
Where in your life are you “in transition?” Are you moving from masked quarantine to careful community? Perhaps people you love are on that jumping off place from one season to another, from one part of life to another. Know that God is with you, where you are now, and where you are going, and in that space in between.
Join us for worship this weekend! If you enjoy contemporary praise music (like the former 11 am praise service), join us on Saturdays at 6 pm in the Spirit Center to lift your hands in praise to God for this dynamic worship service featuring Glen Mar’s amazing praise bands and musicians. For “Spirited Traditional” worship, join us in person or online on Sunday at 9:30. This week we’ll be starting a sermon series called “I Still Have Joy!” You won’t want to miss it!
See you in Church,
