Dear Glen Mar friends
As our church is full of life and activity, I’m grateful for successful VBS prep (get ready!) Only 5 more adult volunteers needed for specific roles—reach out to Margaret Lang if you can help! And for our amazing Community Health Fair held last weekend–we filled up all the Red Cross slots for blood donation and administered 90+ vaccines.
The food truck is scheduled for this week on Wednesday, May 25 from 5-7 pm (not Thursday as previously reported). I hope you can join us for some social time or pick up dinner to go.
Also, be on the lookout for our Mission Briefing, coming to you via regular mail, which describes ways that God has used the financial gifts you have given to our church over the past year, as part of our Mission Accepted Operating Fund Stewardship Campaign. We’ll also share the briefing online with a way to pledge online, soon, but be on the lookout for the mailing.
We’re hiring on our facilities team! If you are interested, check out our posting here! https://glenmarumc.org/job-opening-facilities/ Questions? Contact Minister for Operations Alison Mannino.

This Sunday, we’ll examine The Boldness of Faith, looking at Peter’s walk on the water, and will honor those who gave their lives in service to our country…Join us!
See you in Church,
Pastor Mandy
PS Steps of Hope–Guatemala founder and program director Jessalyn Waddell de Mena, who was part of our last Missions Weekend, will visit Catonsville United Methodist Church during an Open House in their Parlor on Thursday evening May 26 beginning at 7:30 p.m. if you’d like to hear more about how that ministry is going. Jessalyn will also be available in the Gathering Place at Glen Mar to answer questions and share info between services.
