- 30 Hour Famine Bake Sale! Glen Mar’s Confirmation Class went without food for 30 hours to raise awareness and money for world hunger. To support their efforts, make a donation at tinyurl.com/GM30HF-25 or at their bake sale in the Gathering Place!
- Fear of the Other Book Study – Sundays March 2-23 from 12:15 pm to 1:45 pm. Join us for a discussion of William Willimon’s book, Fear of the Other. Bring a bag lunch to eat while pondering and discussing the book and Scripture. Copies of the book will be provided if you register early! Sign up today!
- VBS 2025 – Join us July 7-11 for a True North adventure, learning to trust God in a wild world. Registration begins March 1!

- Don’t miss the Pancake Supper! Register NOW in the Gathering Place for George’s delicious pancakes on Tuesday, March 4, 5:30-7:00 pm. Prepare for the start of Lent by eating pancakes with your Glen Mar family! The cost is a free-will offering per person, and all proceeds from the meal will be used to help with international missions that Glen Mar supports.
- Glen Mar Supports the Grassroots Cold Weather Shelter – March 17-23. Glen Mar will provide breakfast and dinner for the Grassroots Cold Weather Shelter. We need bulk item donations, volunteers to help prepare meals, and cash contributions. For details on how to help or to sign up.

- Food Collection Ministry – For years, Glen Mar has collected food for a variety of worthy organizations that we partner with. In order to respond to God’s calling, we are looking to hold a food collection every other month to support partners in Baltimore and needy Howard County citizens. If you would like to help with this ministry, please contact Dave Eddy.
- BWC Summer Camp – Registration for United Methodist summer camps is now open! Sleep-away camps for current 2nd graders and older at West River and Manidokin include swimming, boating, climbing, music, games, and so much more. Learn more at bwccampsandretreats.com.
- Summer Mission Trips – June 22-28: North Carolina for home repair with Carolina Rebuilding Ministry. Open to all adults and youth currently in 8th grade or older, $300 or less. July 21-25: Baltimore Mission Week, a chance to serve in the Baltimore area while sleeping in your own bed. Open to all adults and youth currently in the 6th grade and older, $125 or less. Family Matters Pot Luck Dinner – Saturday, March 1 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Do you have kids in preschool through middle school? We are a small group that typically meets every 1st Saturday of the month. This is a great opportunity to make friends with other families with kids at Glen Mar! Bring the whole family, an entrée or side dish and join us in the Glen Mar Youth Lounge.

Ash Wednesday – Wednesday, March 5. Ash Wednesday marks the first day in the season of Lent: a season of reflection, repentance and renewal that prepares us for a fuller and more joyful experience of Jesus’ resurrection on Easter. We begin our Lenten Sermon Series with our evening worship service, “Meeting Jesus at the Table” at 7:30 pm. There will be Ashes To Go, 12:00 to 1:00 pm in the Front Entrance Round-About.

Youth Group – All 6th-12th grade youth are invited to join us tonight in Youth Lounge from 5:30 to 7:00pm to get your artistic groove on! We will be creating art pieces to sell at the Pancake Supper to raise funds for international missions. Please bring $5 for dinner.

Youth Sunday – Sunday, March 2, 9:30 am and 11:00 am. Youth will lead all aspects of worship. Contact D.C. Veale today or sign up on the list outside the Youth Office. Volunteer to be a reader, usher, greeter or communion server. Regular youth Sunday morning programs will not meet that day.
