Collection for Migrants
Glen Mar’s Social Justice Group is partnering with Capitol Hill UMC in Washington, D.C. to provide hygiene kits and other supplies to migrants who are sent by bus from Arizona and Texas. During the month of June, the group will be collecting hygiene items, socks, underwear, and backpacks. Pick up a flyer in the Gathering Place for more details. [See list of needed items – Learn More]

“No Strings” Choir
Love to sing? Interested in trying out Choir but not ready to commit long term? Already in the choir and still wanna sing? Join our “No Strings” Choir. Flip Flop Game Night – Wednesday, June 26 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm
Middle and high school youth are invited to the first Game Night, featuring fun games chosen by the youth. Meet at the baseball field (Youth Lounge if the weather is bad).
High School Dinner & a Movie – Tuesday, July 2, 6:30 pm
All rising 9th grade and older youth are invited to join us for dinner and to watch and discuss the movie “Barbie”. We will meet at 6:30pm at the home the Musselwhite family. HOLA Toastmasters of Ellicott City – Tuesday, July 2 at 7:30pm
We meet twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings at 7:30 pm. We have hybrid meetings both online and in person on first Tuesdays at Glen Mar and on ZOOM only on third Tuesdays. For more information, email Ra****@***il.com.
Flip Flop Art Night: Cupcake Decorating – Wednesday, July 3, 6:30 to 8:00 pm

Habitat For Humanity – Next work date is Saturday, July 13
Do you enjoy doing handy work? Or do you wish you knew how to do handy tasks around your home? The Glen Mar Habitat Crew welcomes you to join us, either way. You must be 16 or older to work on a Habitat site. We work the second Saturday of every month. If construction isn’t your gift, you can still support this wonderful mission by volunteering in the Restores. Contact Adrienne to learn more or to sign up.
