MINISTRY SPOTLIGHTS:
- Glen Mar Supports the Grassroots Cold Weather Shelter – March 17-23. Glen Mar will provide breakfast and dinner for the Grassroots Cold Weather Shelter. We need bulk item donations, volunteers to help prepare meals, and cash contributions. For details on how to help or to sign up.
- Register now for the MARTI (Maryland Turkish-American Inhabitants) Dinner – Sunday, March 23, 6:30-8:30 pm. All are invited to attend this Iftar meal to build community with our neighbors! MARTI values many of the things we value: dialogue, diverse connections, education and peacemaking. The meal will take place at Glen Mar. The food will be provided by MARTI. People of all ages are invited, and childcare will be provided. There will be an opportunity to share in the cost of the food if you desire, but it is not required. Register to reserve your spot!

- Youth “Artwork” – Stop by the table in the Gathering Place today to purchase some magnetic art made by Glen Mar youth in support of international missions! All proceeds will support our ministry partners in Haiti and Guatemala.
- Food, Faith and Feds Gathering – Saturday, March 15, 11:00 am. Glen Mar is here for you during this time of uncertainty. All federal workers and contractors (and their significant others too), are invited to join us. Please RSVP for the lunch by contacting the Pastors’ Assistant at 443.341.2156.
- Easter Eggstravaganza – Saturday, April 12, 10:00-11:30 am. Children and families can enjoy a fun morning of egg hunting, crafts, games, and more. Please register or sign up in the Gathering Place so we know how many to expect. Want to help? Talk to Julie or use the online registration to sign up.
- Senior High Retreat – All 9th-12th grade youth are urged to join us May 2-4 as we return to Bethany Beach to Dive Deep! We’ll dive into how to read the Bible, understand it, and apply it to our life. There will also be plenty of time for other beachy things like sand, the boardwalk, ice cream, and more! $140 per youth, register here.
- Summer Mission Trips – June 22-28: North Carolina for home repair with Carolina Rebuilding Ministry. Open to all adults and youth currently in 8th grade or older, $300 or less. July 21-25: Baltimore Mission Week, a chance to serve in the Baltimore area while sleeping in your own bed. Open to all adults and youth currently in the 6th grade and older, $125 or less. Register now for the NC Mission Trip and/or the Baltimore Mission Week. The first training is March 29!
- VBS – Register NOW to hold your spot for the True North Adventure, July 7-11! Don’t wait!
- Stephen Ministry – A Stephen Minister is a lay person who has engaged in 50 hours of training in Christian care giving. We are here for those are going through a challenging season of life. For more information about Stephen Ministry, speak to a pastor or email Stephen Ministry.

- Social Justice Group – Tuesday, March 11, 7:00 pm. This group educates itself on the many social justice issues to be addressed in our community and discern how to effectively engage and take action. All are welcome to attend this group!
- Dancing Needles – Thursday, March 13, 1:00 pm. Do you enjoy knitting and crocheting? We need you in our prayer shawl group! Prayer shawls are given to those in hospitals and those in need of special care as a reminder that others care and are praying for them.

- Our next turn at Rt. 1 Day Resource Center – Saturday, March 22. One of 50 churches supporting the Grassroots Rt. 1 Day Resource Center (DRC), Glen Mar provides lunch on the 4th Saturday of every month.
