American Cancer Society Benefit: OUTBACK Steakhouse
Purchase take-out Outback Steakhouse dinners for pickup at Glen Mar on Tuesday, September 27, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Payment of $25 per dinner must be made in advance of pickup. Look for our table in the Gathering Place on Sundays, September 18 and 25, to purchase your take-out meals. OR contact the Angels for a Cure Team and sign up now!
Our Next Turn @ Rt. 1 DRC – September 24, 11:45 am to 2:00 pm
One of 50 churches supporting the Grassroots Rt. 1 Day Resource Center (DRC), Glen Mar provides lunch on the 4th Saturday of every month. Our Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers who will walk with you, listen to you, and provide confidential, one-to-one care as you search through the pieces and find what is truly in your heart. They listen, empathize, encourage, pray, and provide emotional and spiritual support on a weekly basis for as long as the need persists.
