Join us this summer for a week (or two) that will change your life. Glen Mar is offering two very different week-long mission opportunities this summer for youth and adult chaperones. Help build and repair homes, feed the hungry, help those in need, but most of all to build relationships with homeowners, host organizations, local communities, and fellow Glen Mar members.  

North Carolina

June 22 – 28: Current 8th grade and older youth and adults will partner with Carolina Rebuilding Ministry in Windsor, NC, to provide upgrades and repairs for low-income homeowners. The cost is $300 per person with discounts available for women, confirmation students (one trip only), and three or more family members. If finances are a concern, scholarships are available.

Baltimore Mission Week

July 21 – 25: For current 6th grade and older youth and adults, we’ll start and end each day at Glen Mar (you get to sleep in your own bed) and do a variety of mission activities in the Baltimore area, including working at soup kitchens, clothing closets, food banks, kids’ camps, and urban farms. The cost is $125 per person with discounts available for adults and confirmation students (one trip only). If finances are a concern, scholarships are available.

• Saturday, April 26, 10 am – 12 pm – Team-building and relational training
• Saturday, May 31, 9 am – 12 pm – Tool and safety training
