Glen Mar is accepting donations for new winter clothing and outdoor protection gear to be provided to My Sister’s Place Women’s Center. My Sister’s Place, located in Baltimore City, serves women experiencing homelessness and poverty. The biggest need right now is for the women to layer up and protect themselves from the cold, which can turn deadly in the winter.

Specific donations needed include:

• New Winter Clothing (shirts, sweatshirts, thermals, socks)
• New Outerwear (coats, jackets)
• New Blankets/Sleeping Bags (suitable for outdoors/wet conditions)

Donations are being accepted through January 31, 2022 and can be dropped off at Glen Mar Church or arrangements can be made for delivery/pick up (email Kim Gross for more information).
