- College Ministry – Glen Mar wants to keep in contact with your child as they head to college! Our You’ve Got Mail ministry sends care packages out 4 times a year to our college students, with small gifts and messages. We collect donations from our college parent group and our youth often assemble the packages. If you would like your child to receive packages from Glen Mar, send your child’s name and college address to Trisha Boswell at tr***************@***il.com. We would also love the name of your child’s college, major, and any other activity that would help us personalize their notes.
- Guatemala Mission Trip Interest Meeting – Sunday, August 23 at 12:15 pm in room 145. This is a meeting for people interested in a weeklong mission trip to Steps of Hope in Guatemala sometime in late Winter to early Spring 2027. Bring your calendar!

YOUTH NEWS
- High School Bible Study – Will NOT meet this Sunday because of the Tubing Trip. We’ll meet next Sunday at 12:15pm.
- Youth Group Tubing Trip – Youth and adults signed up for the tubing trip this Sunday, August 9 should meet in the ELC parking lot at 1:00 pm. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel. We’ll return to Glen Mar about 6:00 pm.
- Cupcake Wars – Sunday, August 23, 6:30-8:00 pm. All rising 6th grade youth and older are invited to join us for a fun evening of creating amazing and edible artwork in the Youth Lounge. The cost is $5 per person. Bring a friend.
- 2026-27 Confirmation Class Information Meeting – Sunday, August 30 at 10:45 am in the Youth Lounge.
