Christmas Poinsettias

Honor a loved one this Christmas by ordering a poinsettia from Homestead Gardens. Poinsettias come in 7” pots with 8 – 10 blooms in red & white and will help beautify the Spirit Center for our Christmas Eve services. Cost is $20.00 per plant and envelopes are available on the café in The Gathering Place. Order deadline is December 17. For more information or to place an order contact Kyara.

Family Christmas Project for Worship

Want something creative to do with your family? Have creative writing skills? Like coming up with fun stories? Have a fun story to share about Christmas? We want to hear from you! The worship team will be collecting Christmas stories and poems about Christmas, Christmas morning, and/or the joy and meaning of Christmas for our December 26th services. Please submit your stories and/or poems now through December 17th.

Wish Upon A Star – Gifts Due Sunday, Dec. 5

Glen Mar’s Wish Upon a Star Ministry is an annual Christmas program that provides gifts and gift cards to families in need living in our area. Ames Coat Drive

Glen Mar is supporting our brothers and sisters at Ames Memorial Church in collecting winter coats for those in need. Coats should be new, or clean and in good shape. My Sister’s Place Winter Gear Collection

Donate new winter clothing, new outerwear, and new blankets/sleeping bags through January 31, 2022. My Sister’s Place Women’s Center, located in Baltimore City, serves women experiencing homelessness and poverty. Arrangements can be made for donation pick up/drop off by emailing Kim Gross. Collecting Storage Tubs

Family Survivor Network (FSN) needs plastic storage tubs to organize supplies. Any storage size is welcome. Totes with lids are also desired as well as storage containers missing lids. Collection will continue through March 1, 2022. [Read More]

Safe Sanctuaries Training Sunday, Dec. 12 @ 7:00 pm

Do you volunteer with children, youth, or vulnerable adults here at Glen Mar Church? Have you taken Safe Sanctuaries Training? Did you know it is a mandatory training that we use to keep our church a safe place? If you have had training, are you up to date?
