- Mission Trip Information Meeting – Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 am. Are you interested in attending the Mission Trip to Plymouth, NC June 23rd – 29th? If you have never been on a mission trip or didn’t attend our mission trip last year, this is a meeting for you! Find answers to … Where are we going? Where will we sleep? What do we eat? - Vacation Bible School (VBS) – Registration begins this Friday, March 1. Kids currently in kindergarten and older are invited into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God this summer at Scuba VBS – July 8-12, 9am to noon, with an extended day option. Altar Flowers – Sponsor/Purchase Flowers for the Sanctuary
Honor a Loved One or Special Occasion – Sponsor one or two Spirit Center altar flower arrangements for Sunday Worship. You have the option to either purchase or donate to “Shut-In” ministry. Bowling! Youth Group – Sunday, March 3 at 2:00 pm
Everyone who signed up, please join us for a fun afternoon of bowling at Normandy Bowlero on Rt. 40. We’ll meet at the bowling alley from 2 to 3:30 PM. Youth Group will return next Sunday at 5:30 pm at Glen Mar.

HOLA Toastmasters of Ellicott City – Tuesday, March 5 at 7:30 pm
“Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that builds confidence and teaches public speaking skills through a worldwide network of clubs that meet online and in person.” Our group meets twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings at 7:30 pm. We have hybrid meetings both online and in person on first Tuesdays at Glen Mar and on ZOOM only on third Tuesdays. For more information, email Rajan.
Habitat for Humanity – Next build date is March 9
Do you enjoy doing handy work? Or do you wish you knew how to do handy tasks around your home? The Glen Mar Habitat Crew welcomes you to join us, either way. You must be 16 or older to work on a Habitat site. We work the second Saturday of every month. If construction isn’t your gift, you can still support this wonderful mission by volunteering in the “Restores“. Contact Adrienne to learn more or to sign up.
Social Justice Group – Tuesday, March 12 at 7:00 pm
Passionate about social justice and want to make a difference in the world? Join us as we explore ways to support migrants arriving in D.C.
Dancing Needles – Thursday, March 14 at 1:00 pm
Do you enjoy knitting and crocheting or would you like to learn? We need you in our prayer shawl group. Prayer shawls are given to those in hospital and those in need of special care as a reminder that others care and are praying for them. The group is also making baby blankets for our newborns and scarves for our armed forces. We usually meet the second Thursday of every month at 1:00 pm in Room 144 to knit, crochet, and share together. If you wish you can knit or crochet at home and we can arrange to have your finished items picked up or dropped off at church. Donations of yarn are always welcome.
Lunch Bunch – Saint Patty’s Lunch, Tuesday, March 19 at 11:30 am
Lunch Bunch is a group of “seasoned citizens” (55 and up) who meet in the lower lobby for fellowship, fun and, of course, lunch. This month, it’s George Dohner’s Corned Beef & Cabbage to celebrate St. Patty’s. All you need to bring is your appetite! If you have any questions, contact Lois.

Youth at “The Yard” – Sunday, April 14
Take me out to the ballgame, take me out to the crowd. The youth are invading Camden Yards on April 14. Register HERE by March 14 to guarantee a ticket. We will meet at the church at noon to head up to the Yard and will be back after the game is over.
Youth Summer Mission Trip to Plymouth, NC – June 23-29
This summer’s youth mission trip will return to Plymouth, NC, partnering once again with Carolina Rebuilding Ministry. Youth completing 8th grade and older can participate. The cost per person will be $200. Register by April 13th with a $100 deposit to secure your spot. First training is on March 9. Learn more and sign up here.
