MINISTRY SPOTLIGHTS:

Ames UMC Thanksgiving Food Collection – Today through November 17, Glen Mar will be collecting Thanksgiving food items to support our partners at Ames United Methodist Church in Baltimore. Please pick up a bag with a list of needed food items from the table in the gathering place. Thank you for your continued support for our Ames brothers and sisters!
Celebrate 70 years! – Share with us your favorite Glen Mar memories! Next Sunday, we will be celebrating 70 years of Glen Mar! Please send any fond memories you would like to share with everyone to of****@gl********.org, and join us between services to fellowship and celebrate!

Wish Upon A Star – Help Make Christmas Brighter! Wish Upon A Star is again assisting about 35 families with clothing, food, and toys. Now through November 24th, you may choose stars in the Gathering Place or sign up online by searching for “Wish Upon A Star” on Glen Mar’s website. Stop by the Gathering Place today to learn more!
Operation Christmas Child is an organization that ships shoe boxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items to children around the world allowing us to share the love of Jesus with them. Our Next Turn at the Rt. 1 Day Resource Center – Saturday, November 23. One of 50 churches supporting the Grassroots Rt. 1 Day Resource Center (DRC), Glen Mar provides lunch on the 4th Saturday of every month. YOUTH INFO/EVENTS:

Monster Mini Golf TONIGHT! 5:00 – 6:30 pm. Pre-registration required. Registered youth should be dropped off and picked up at Monster Mini Golf Columbia at 7351 Assateague Drive 380, Jessup, Maryland 20794. Bring $20 for golf and pizza dinner.
Serve: Wish Upon a Star – Sunday, November 17, 5:30 – 7:30 pm. We’ll be shopping for gifts for Glen Mar’s “Wish Upon a Star” project to provide Christmas gifts for families in need. All youth must have a 2024-25 permission form on file. Bring $5 for dinner PLUS $10 for shopping.
